Now we wait....

This morning was our transfer. We had 3 embryos left today. Two were early blasts and one was an expanded blast. Two of our five did not make it to day 5 :(.

Our blast was a grade B/C. B is for the inner cell mass which is what will become the actual baby. B is a very good grade and will often result in pregnancy especially at my age. The C is for the trophectoderm which will become the placenta. I kinda threw a fit at the office when he said BC because at that point I wanted two transferred to up our chances. The dr said what matter most is the inner cell mass grading because that is what will become the baby. So we listened to him.

After getting home I of course google everything and found that the trophectoderm becomes the placenta. One fertility clinics research suggests that although embryos with lower grade trophectoderms can and do implant they can sometimes end in miscarrige due to the placenta not forming correctly..............


HELLO?!?!? FREAKING OUT NOW!!!!

WTH!!! I will flip out if that happens to us.

I am REALLY hoping this is one of those cases where "one clinics C is really a B" type thing and this doesn't happen to us.

Anyways of course I decided to post on here as I am having a major freak out over this. Happy thoughts....happy thoughts....

Just need to get through the next 9 days...
